PLANNING TOPICS The Repton
Village Society receives copies of all planning applications for Repton
and Milton as part of a non-statutory planning consultation process by the
South Derbyshire District Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote,
Derbyshire DE 11 0AH.

Parish Council reviews all the applications and gives its responses to the
Planning Department of the SDDC. The Village Society attends the public
meetings of the Parish Council, and it also makes its own written
representations to the SDDC, as appropriate. The Parish
Council meets monthly, except in August, in the Repton Village Hall at
7.30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month.
The chairman is Mr. John Shortt and the Council’s
office (701309) at The Dales, in Askew Grove, is open on Mondays, 2-4
p.m., and Wednesdays, 4.40-6.30 p.m.
