TUESDAY 17^thNovember 2009	‘THE GARDENS AT CALKE ABBEY’ An illustrated talk by Steve Biggins, Head Gardener
FRIDAY 4^th DECEMBER TO MONDAY 7^th DECEMBER 2009	Glenys and her helpers will be decorating a tree for display at the Christmas Tree Festival to be held between these dates. This is an excellent event staged in St Wystan’s Church which will be full of trees by various organizations in the village. Please come along and support the event – it is very worthwhile.
TUESDAY 15^th December 2009	‘A CHRISTMAS SOCIAL’ is planned in Repton Village Hall starting at 7.30pm. It will follow the pattern of last year’s event, with refreshments, a raffle, a game or two and maybe one or two items from willing volunteers. This event is open to members and friends and gives a good opportunity for getting to know one another in a more informal way than is possible at the monthly meetings. Please put your name on the list or let a member of the committee know if you would like to come.

TUESDAY 16^th March 2010	‘MADE IN DERBYSHIRE’ an illustrated talk by Shirley Horton
TUESDAY 20^th April 2010	‘THE GIRLS OF THE BIG HOUSE’ A talk by Ian Hingley
TUESDAY 18^th May 2010	‘VICTORIAN GHOST STORIES’ a talk by Gareth King plus A.G.M.
WEDNESDAY 9^th June 2010 ASSEMBLE 2PM	GUIDED TOUR OF FRADLEY JUNCTION CANALS LED BY BRITISH WATERWAYS PERSONNEL. BOOKING REQUIRED MEMBERS ONLY LIMITED NUMBERS
WEDNESDAY 14^th JULY 2010 ASSEMBLE 11.00 AM AT THE ABBEY	VISIT TO MOUNT ST BERNARDS ABBEY NEAR COALVILLE

TUESDAY 19^th October 2010	‘THE HISTORY OF ELVASTON CASTLE’ An illustrated talk by Mike Tong, former Curator.
TUESDAY 16^th November 2010	‘WORLD WAR TWO EVACUEES’. A talk by James Roffey, CEO of the Evacuees Re-union Association. This will include audio recordings from evacuees.
