FRIDAY 4th DECEMBER TO MONDAY 7th DECEMBER 2009 Glenys and her helpers will be decorating a tree for display at the Christmas Tree Festival to be held between these dates. This is an excellent event staged in St Wystan’s Church which will be full of trees by various organizations in the village. Please come along and support the event – it is very worthwhile.
TUESDAY 15th December 2009 ‘A CHRISTMAS SOCIAL’ is planned in Repton Village Hall starting at 7.30pm. It will follow the pattern of last year’s event, with refreshments, a raffle, a game or two and maybe one or two items from willing volunteers. This event is open to members and friends and gives a good opportunity for getting to know one another in a more informal way than is possible at the monthly meetings. Please put your name on the list or let a member of the committee know if you would like to come.
